This Shrine encloses a rock brought down from
higher ground with 1620 stamped on it (sometime in the 1900s), commemorating
Plymouth Landing. |
Here are Travis and Tara watching someone take
their picture, standing in front of a replica of the Mayflower. |

The streets were all pretty and quaint. Tara found
them most appealing. Tara selected a shot glass with Pilgrims on it from one of the many gift shops, thinking it was an interesting vessel to be gold-plated with Puritans. |

When we arrived in Provincetown or Plymouth
Landing (after a lovely drive, and an excellent lunch - Tara had more crabcakes),

of walking out to it, along a Jetty. Several miles later, Tara thought this
wasn't such a good idea, although she did get to another edge of the world.

Some golfers were enjoying the afternoon. |
This guarantee made Tara and Travis smile. |
