One of the last times I'd risk letting him sleep by himself on my
bed... by the end of the month, he was rolling over so much that he
became restricted to sleeping in his cage.

Travis holding the two smallest members of the family. Caira had squirmed by the time I retrieved the camera.

Grandma came to visit again (bringing Grandpa Jack, as promised),
much to Alex's delight. Josh was... well, I'll just say that Grandma
plays games with Josh that I don't.

June 18.
Sitting up like a big man. A big drunk man, but a big man nonetheless.
Caira was
wondering why he encroached on her chair. Do you see the lovely afghan? Grandma made it for Alex.

June 24
Alex meeting his cousin Little Robert. (Travis's mother's brother's
son's son. (I think) I'm not sure if this is a second cousin, or a cousin once
removed.) (I also have a cousin (and an uncle) named Robert,
coincidentally. My Robert relations are on the east coast though, so I
don't foresee much confusion.)
Yes, well. Little Robert and Alex saw each other and were drawn toward
each other. "Hello fellow babyling! Have you heard from the
mother-ship?" Little Robert was very pleased with Alex's dog Josh, who
would submit to being petted.
Anyways. We drove up to Sacramento for a Good family reunion, which was much fun. From there we re-ventured to Crater Lake. (Pictures of the vacation here, eventually.)

June 26,
Here's Alex and Papa standing north of Mount Shasta.

June 27.
Alex was thrilled to see Crater Lake. I'm sure it was an adventure he'll treasure and reminisce about when he gets older.

June 28.
Travis's Grandma. (I would call her "Granny Good", but I'm not sure if that's allowed.)
|
June 28.
Alex's first encounter with birthday candles. He really wanted to touch them.
