Where's December? Not telling. It's April when I'm writing this, so the descriptions are brief.

January 1. Grandpa and Alex. Jack doesn't get to visit as often as Grandma Barbara, but when he does visit, Alex sure likes it! Here they are at the duck pond. |

January 1. One of Alex's favorite things to do - turn off the television. This doesn't seem to be particularly because he wants us to play with him - sometimes he'll traverse the room, turn off the TV, and go back to what he was playing. Maybe he doesn't like distracting noise. Maybe he just does it because he can control the environment. |
| January 4. Alex and his Rodey. Joanie gave this to him as a present, and he is being lovey with it. When he rides it, he grabs ahold of the ears and bounces up and down. Other times, he bites it on the nose. |

January 20. Alex had just been vigorously played with by Craig. He's happily basking in the glow. |

. Alex almost blowing out his birthday cake candle. Hey, if you buy your cake at Extraordinary Desserts, they give you the candles and a box of matches for no additional charge! |

January 21 . The young man received his first set of Quatros for his birthday. Just like with his blocks, he's more into deconstruction and demolition than into creation and building. |
